Glynn Lloyd is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of City Fresh Foods, a food service operation that daily provides over 6,000 Latin, Southern, Italian, Russian and Caribbean meals to Elders, School Students, Day Care Children and other institutional clients. City Fresh Foods has been honored with various awards as well as having been featured on National Public Radio, CNN and in Entrepreneur and Inc. Magazines. More importantly, City Fresh Foods remains a warm and supportive environment in which local residents help manage and grow the company.
City Fresh Foods is Glynn’s second business. He started a landscape business when he was 12 years old eventually building it to an over $2,000 weekly sales entity by the time he graduated high school.
Glynn, a graduate of Boston University in Economics, has worked as a teacher teaching fifth and sixth graders in the Louisiana public schools and G.E.D. to younger and older adults at the Log School and at Roxbury Community College.
