Chandler Burr is The New York Times’ perfume critic and writes the Times’ Scent Notes column. He’s the author of “The Perfect Scent,” based on his New Yorker magazine story, about the creation of perfumes at Hermès and by Sarah Jessica Parker. His novel You or Someone Like You was published summer 2009; he is adapting it for film. Burr speaks on perfume and gives scent dinners around the world; he will be giving a scent dinner at the Four Seasons Bangkok this coming September.
